Booking, Deposits & Cancellation Policy

Solace is a small, practitioner-run studio.
Every booking is reserved specifically for you, which means late changes affect the business in a real way.
This policy exists to keep bookings clear, respectful, and non-awkward.
1) BOOKINGS
Bookings can be made via:
• online booking
• email
• phone or SMS
Some appointments require completion of an intake form before your first session.
If required forms are not completed prior to your appointment, your booking may be rescheduled to protect safety and session quality.
2) DEPOSITS
A $50 deposit is required to secure your booking.
Your deposit:
• holds your appointment time
• comes off the total cost of your treatment (it is not an extra fee)
• is processed through our booking system or payment provider
3) CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
We understand that life happens, and we also protect the studio’s time and income.
Cancellations and reschedules are treated the same, as the appointment time cannot easily be refilled.
Refund structure:
• 48 hours or more notice
Deposit is fully transferable to a future booking.
• Less than 48 hours’ notice
Deposit is forfeited.
• No-shows
Deposit is forfeited and the remaining fee may be charged.
4) LATE ARRIVALS
If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time.
This protects the next client and the integrity of the day.
If you arrive more than 10–15 minutes late, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show, depending on what is still practical.
5) RESCHEDULING DUE TO ILLNESS
If you are unwell (including fever, gastro symptoms, or contagious illness), please do not attend your appointment.
Contact us as soon as possible and we will reschedule.
In cases of genuine illness or emergency, deposit outcomes may be handled with discretion.
(We are human, and we are also running a studio.)
6) PRACTITIONER CANCELLATIONS
If Solace needs to reschedule your appointment, you will be offered:
• a full refund of your deposit, or
• priority rescheduling at the next available time
7) PAYMENT METHODS
Accepted payment methods may include:
• EFTPOS
• card
• cash
• bank transfer
Receipts are issued automatically or upon request where applicable.
8) PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
Solace is a respectful, professional environment.
Abusive, harassing, threatening, or sexualised behaviour will result in the session ending immediately.
In these situations, fees may be charged in full.
